About the Role
JDInet is hiring a Level 2 IT Support Technician to support managed IT services operations across the Minneapolis service area. This is a hands-on technical role focused on resolving day-to-day support issues, maintaining client environments, and operating independently across small to mid-sized business systems.
Requirements
The position requires strong troubleshooting capability, ownership of work, and the ability to resolve most Level 1/2 issues without supervision. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient operator who can manage workload, communicate clearly with clients, and escalate only when necessary.
JDInet is looking for a Level 2 IT Support Technician with 4–7+ years of relevant IT support experience, ideally within an MSP environment.
Base / Minimum Qualifications
4–7+ years of experience in IT support or MSP environments
Strong troubleshooting across Windows-based systems and user environments
Experience with Microsoft 365 (user administration, email, permissions)
Ability to independently manage workload and priorities
Proven ability to resolve issues without step-by-step guidance
Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
Familiarity with PSA tools (e.g., Autotask or similar)
Experience with RMM tools and endpoint management platforms
Basic networking knowledge (routing, switching, troubleshooting)
Exposure to backup, security, and monitoring solutions
Certifications (Required or Preferred)
Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA or similar) preferred but not required
Compensation Details
Base salary range of $55K–$75K depending on experience and capability

Additional Requirements
Based in the Minneapolis service area
Regular in-office presence expected
Ability to travel locally for onsite client support
